Sliding Systems

Today, sliding systems come to the forefront with their aesthetic appearance and functionality in the building sector. Especially the use of aluminum in these systems brings many advantages. In this article, we will focus on the use and ecological advantages of aluminum sliding systems.

Use and Advantages of Aluminum

Aluminum is one of the preferred materials in the building industry and is an ideal option for sliding systems. You can find some advantages of using aluminum in sliding systems below:

1. Lightness and Durability: Aluminum is an extremely durable material despite its light weight. This feature allows sliding doors and windows to move easily and guarantees their long life.

2. Aesthetic Appeal: Aluminum offers a modern and stylish look. For this reason, it has become a material preferred by architects and interior design experts. When used in sliding systems, it adds an elegant touch to the spaces.

3. Flexible Design Options: Aluminum is a material with high workability. This feature allows the production of sliding systems in different sizes and shapes. Ideal for special designs and large glass surfaces.

4. Ease of Maintenance:Aluminum is a non-corrosive and non-rotting material. This feature minimises maintenance requirements. It maintains its first day appearance for many years with only periodic cleaning.

 Ecological Advantages

Aluminum sliding systems also have many ecological advantages:

1. Recycling: Aluminum is one of the rare metals that can be recycled. This feature contributes to the conservation of natural resources and reduces the amount of waste.

2. Energy Efficiency: Aluminum has low energy requirements during the production phase and saves energy thanks to its ability to be reprocessed. This helps to reduce the carbon footprint.

3. Long Life Cycle: Aluminum sliding systems have a long life cycle, promoting the efficient use of resources.

Aluminum sliding systems have become a preferred option in modern building designs and renovation projects. It offers an environmentally friendly option with its lightness, durability, aesthetic appearance and ecological advantages. In addition to providing long-term performance and visual aesthetics to its users, these systems also contribute to the protection of natural resources.

Prominent usage advantages of sliding systems in various projects

Now let's take a look at the prominent usage advantages of sliding systems in the architect Cesare Ricchetti's various projects with design and application examples extending from Italy Garda to Florida America as RC Projet and from there to Senegal, Niger and Rwanda in west and central Africa.

Noom Chain Hotels Niamey Niger

Let's take a look at the facade design details of the Noom chain hotels built in Niamey, Niger, where our Italian architect Cesare Ricchetti designed the facade and Rc Projet managed the implementation.

Designed with double entrances, front and back, Noom Hotel stands out with an inviting hotel entrance with the Italian Label Spa automatic aluminum sliding doors preferred by Italian architect Ricchetti.

At the main hotel entrance door for guest entry, wide wing openings and huge window and brand details designed specifically for the Noom brand.

RW450 Twin System aluminium sliding door windows insulated with huge uv-filtered glasses in the restaurant section have been applied ready for seasonal open or closed use.

RW450 Twin System aluminium sliding door systems and single sash opening window system application in room doors and windows, dark coloured glass doors in bathroom and toilet doors in in-room partition systems add value to the project with an elegant Italian aesthetic.

The aesthetic screw details used in the stair glass railings, the fine touch of the Italian architect Ricchetti, with a unique elegance and robustness, graciously presents the international hotel guests in Niger in Africa.

Made in Usa Alucobond composite panel and plate, a world brand, was preferred for the exterior facade.

Noom chain hotels are taking their place in West and Central Africa as an example of the Italian architect Cesare Ricchetti's industrial use of aluminum sliding systems.

Lake House Garda Italy

In the two-storey lake house built on Lake Garda in Italy, where our Italian architect Cesare Ricchetti designed the façade and Rc Projet managed the implementation, aluminum sliding systems with wide glass wings opening to the pool on the ground floor patio give the lake house an inviting appearance with its superior insulation properties and large windows.

On the upper floor; aluminum sliding systems used in room windows and balcony doors have also taken their place in the design to enjoy the uninterrupted lake view with their huge window openings.

The wood cladding systems used in the facade design, which are characterized by their excellent insulation properties, demonstrate the need for harmony with nature in such lake and chalet-like structures and the advantage of working with Cesare Ricchetti, a facade design architect with an ecological perspective and extensive application experience.

Metra made in italy, NC 50 systems were applied as special size aluminum windows can be opened double wing.

With its high and wide windows, it has taken its place among the examples of architect Ricchetti's intercontinental work

Therefore, the Malabo Parliament is an important example to demonstrate that the use and application of custom-designed aluminum window systems have an important role in modern construction projects in terms of both aesthetics and environmental sustainability. Considering these advantages, the preference of aluminum window systems by our Italian architects Ricchetti will continue to increase in the future.
